ok since theres 200+ pages of ppl whom got banned itd probably be easier to look at those who haven't got banned.
please take all discussion else where and only post the following only if your box has NOT YET BEEN BANNED

Comments about your history: I once had launch xbox which was banned during the halo 3 beta first wave, no DMI/PFI on my crackdown. I now have a new box but same HDD and gamertag.
also i have never had a burnt disc even in the tray with the ethernet cable pluged in and always run an retail copy to clear the catch before reconnecting with my current box. oh and i havent touched the box since june, just connected yesterday to update it and see if i was banned (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Belief on banning: i think some lie and say they dont play backups when connected to live, but really they just dont play multiplayer and are connected. also maybe M$ just comes here and looks at the poster's gamertags yanno since most of you have your gamertags in your profiles O.o also i need to learn to photoshop but (IMG:http://i37.tinypic.com/4lp01j.jpg)

NOTE: i didnt ask for things like fw version because they really don't make a difference along with the game playing at time of ban and such

I'm not.... not modded hehe.  Literally, had my 360 open, had just bought the proper sata cable, have a dvd burner on the way, just about to do the firmware flash, and i stumble in here... I'm scared to even connect to live, i feel like they know my intentions.

Not banned as of yet. Always had a silver account and network cable plugged in. Logged in past few days, multiple times a day expecting a ban. Still expecting one.

-Manufacturing date: 2008
-Liteon drive flashed with 1.6, upgraded as soon as it was released(drive has been modded since 1.51)
-All backups checked through abgx, tested in xbox and patched if needed, immediately after burning
-I always rip and play games from my hdd only, every game
-Library of around 30 games
-Last game patched was borderlands(few days ago) last game played was Oblivion(3 weeks ago)
-Last dlc bought was 2 weeks ago and I haven't played the game yet
-Every backup burned on verbatim 2.4x at 8x with a pioneer 112d with most up to date version of xbc, never verified afterward.
-Never played an early release
-Always updated dash when asked too, immediately
-Was in previous live preview program

I got in the new preview program, but they said my console id was wrong, that it didn't match the serial or something....so I never got the preview update. I just tried correcting it and was told to check back in 3-4 days, for the update.

I don't know any other details to give, or how many of the above are useful bits...but there it is.

Do I leave backups in the tray when connected to live: no
Do I play originals on live?  Only Halo 3 and even thats been a while.
Did I use the xbox's power while flashing the drive:  yes
Did I use jungleflasher or dosflash?  Dosflash
Firmware Version: 1.6.1 (upgraded from 1.6 about 3 days ago).
Have I been banned before (yes about 2.5 years ago on my original console, samsung dvd drive)
Do I go on live without backups in the try? (every so often to buy an arcade game or DLC).
Blanks:  Verbatim 2.4x and Verbatim 8x discs (all burned at 4x)
Verifed through ABGX - yup
early release played? not anything in the last year.
xbox model: falcon, purchased around dec '07 - arcade model, with a 120gb hard drive.


Serisouly wondering if my actual lack of using live for playing games (as I prefer single player games) has prevented me from getting banned.

Exactly my case as well. I don't play online against other people even though I have a gold account. I only use Live for game patches & sports game content like rosters & sliders. NEVER played a single game online. My gold account ends in January so I don't really need it & didn't really need it in the first place. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

havent played anything new..in fact I dont even what came out recently..I am am still trying to finish up ps1/ps2 games  laugh.gif

Same here bro. I never play games online against others. I do have a gold account that ends in January but I've only used it to download demos. I only really need silver because I only really need it for sports game patches,rosters,& sliders.  dry.gif

Not banned yet (crosses fingers), but the way people are falling left and right, it's only a matter of time before I will be.

-I have a Lite-On DG-16D2S, modded over this past summer.
-Used the CK3 Pro
-Didn't use the 360 for power during flashing
-On iXtreme 1.6
-Never played a game before release
-Verify everything through ABGX on level 3 fix
- Haven't played any wave 4 games, nor have I used the one-shot disk
-Use Verbatim DL media
-Haven't played an original since modding

Belief on banning: PFI timing is slower on poor media and is a easy detection.

Always checked with ABGX
Always used Verbatim disks
Modded with CK3 and jungle flasher.
Played lots of orignals since modding
Played backups online
Played lots of early releases
Consoles were in last preview (not current one)
No repair page error on two consoles.
