Sorry for the name calling tactical, it's just that you guys need to understand like someone has already said, if you are banned you will be banned even if you wait for a new FW, it's a server side ban. Think of the Matrix, when neo got unplugged from the Matrix itself lol.. Once he got unplugged there was no way to get back unless he bought a new 360.

My test of this method was 100% right on: my banned console gave me the error page and the non-banned non-modded one gave me the correct page, with options and stuff.

But one thing VERY peculiar happened with the banned console....... the warranty expiration date is WAY off!!

It shows as expiration on 16/06/2010, while the console was bought about 4 months earlier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how come is that possible???

2 repair error 54420 for few days, still played on LIVE, then ban
2 of us no repair error, not banned, still playing fine on LIVE.

Here is what I received for my 3 xboxs.

Xbox 1 - I purchased 1 month ago (modded, but not on XBL in the last week or so), yet warranty expires next month??
Xbox 2 - I purchased yesterday (not modded....yet)
Xbox 3 - Is 1-1/2 years old (modded and banned from XBL).

If I try to request a repair on # 1 or # 3, it gives me the error page.
If I try to request a repair on # 2 it brings me to the "Tell us your problem" step.

darn,

says my console is already registered.

I bought it brand new from walmart a number of years ago.. didn't show any signs of being returned.

I did give my serial/console ID for the nxe beta signup? Maybe thats why they consider it regged? still strange it wouldn't show up under my windows live id.

so has anyone really had the error code removed after flashing back to stock? if so, did you still get banned? i read that this worked for a couple of people, but not enough for me to really believe it's true

have you flashed via unplugging the sata cable and powering the console on.. if so chances are yes.

Not sure about that as I didnt check afterwards, suffice to say I was in warranty and could request a repair just before I flashed back to stock and tried to connect..... banned

The advice I am giving my previous customers is "if you played backup online after you accepeted the Oct 28th update then expect to be banned, regardless of what you did to avoid the ban. If you just have to know then understand you will lose your HDD install function"

This topic is nuts when I think about it...you want a safe check do you??? Flash back to stock and try to connect to live. If you can then thank god, if you cant just accept the consequences of your actions. I did....

So, here was my curiosity. I've got a friend who only plays his 360 during the summers. He's a bit paranoid so we played backups over lan and our original H3 disks over live. Needless to say, come September 1st, back into its box it went and into the closet here when he went back to school. I can attest, it has not come out of the closet since September.

I found my console has the repair error... couldn't remember the last time I went on live but I certainly remembered when his did so out it came for the serial number. Went on the repair site, same problem. Now that's just odd. Perhaps it got flagged this summer some how? Doesn't really matter for him as it won't be played until June. We'll see what goes down.

Hopefully the new firmware comes out soon and I can give it a whirl.

Well, i havent played online after october 28th, actually, i NEVER played online, and got banned. The only thing i did online was purchase Trials HD!!

I check my xbox and i get *A problem occurred, and your request cannot be completed* It has been fixed in the past year due to E74 but i cant work out why i keep getting the error. I am on the right website for my country also.

how come no one is looking into using XVal_v2.0 to see what these console shows..(it works really good and you don't have to add the - in the numbers in X
and just for reference I am ban on 1 box it won't show warranty good..why would it your ban
but the repair shows up for that console....it has been said to me over the phone that if 1 console is ban and 1 ain't you can't use the license transfer option
P.S this is after a ban not pre ban like some are trying to see...use XVal_v2.0 the man that made it is awesome...

i look at it like this(no ones really knows) if i can remote into my other pc's and see any info i want(drives and system) ..why can't live...it don't matter if you flash back they already have the info they need ...some do pass by and most don't...

and the test isn't connecting to live via game it's in the console info to test if you can connect to live...so do it right
