ok I know I dont have a lot of space for anything on my memory card but I would like to get on xbox live to play against others on cod4 and gow2.  I get a message telling me I need to update and then it tells me that I need at least 128mb of space and it disconnects me.  I have noticed though that if I load gow2 and then exit the game it signs me into Live and doesnt disconnect me, I have no access at that point to message menus and such but that doesnt matter to me.  problem is as soon as the game starts to load it asks to update my console again and disconnects when I say no.  Any ideas on what I can do to make it think my mem card has the update or everything look ok for it?

You can't, you have to have the update. There's no other way. Sorry.
