Yeah doesn't say if they're silver or gold either.
500,000 if 90% of them are silver accounts who gives a toss.

You and I may not care but the media DOES care if they're silver members. Sony has always been quick to talk numbers of their online service (which is free just like silver members), so why not MS?

Add all the servers you want; we're not using them, so lag results. They need to start providing dedicated servers. At present, there's a few games that *do* have dedicated servers (EA has their own, for example), but that's because the devs set it up that way; has nothign to do with the Live memberships (as in EA's case, they provide dedicated servers for both XBL and PSN).

Which EA games have these dedicated servers? If it happens to be Madden then I wish they'd go back to P2P because every time EAs servers went down I always got disconnected in the middle of a game.

This happened pretty often too.
