Karaoke On Vcd?
« on: December 27, 2004, 02:49:00 PM »

I don't flame me, I've searched but nothing on VCD. I know the newest XBMC support CD+G, but my karaoke are all on VCD, just like watching a movie. The question is how do I enable the mic where playing a VCD or even DVD for that matter? I doesn't seem to work.

Yeah I don't think Mic is supported yet.

Random though. Hhm, I've thought about the Karaoke feature and wondered whether creating an .SRT or other subtitle file, then naming it so it's connected with a music video (in XviD format), would work, like in terms of showing up overlayed on the video. Should work aye, hope it works :).

I've read some where CD+G is implemented. And in fact there is a karaoke setting in xbmc 11/30/04 build. So what's the point of karaoke WITHOUT a mic support?

I think this should be the NUMBER 1 desired feature for xbmc.
