Hello Community...I got caught in the recent ban-hammer which I now officially believe was judgment day and that we are now in the apocalypse....but anyways... I was just wondering if anyone came across any methods of acquiring the avatars feature on the NXE with a console that has been neutered by M$....by neutered I mean banned

Not that I know of. I'd assume the update will be included in avatar-enabled disc games, though.

Hope this helps, I just did mine, I bought an Arcade console after getting banned a few days ago, put my hard drive with my profile on it into the Arcade system, went online and updated the avatar, then put the hard drive back into the banned console and it is now as I set it.
So you can update it on an unbanned console then move your profile back to your banned one and it stays as you set it.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. But is this safe in the long run? I thought about moving the hdd back and forth between banned and unbanned to update gamertag from time to time.

nothing wrong with doing this... did this to update my brothers console. works perfectly!
