Over a week ago my friend told me that there a torrent of GOW2.  I told him, I know, but I don't download 360 games because you never know what you are downloading and I feel you have a much greater risk of being banned from live.

I only play backup from games I ripped myself.

I would not put it past MS to purposely leak GOW2 with some kind code that tags your console for ban.

i have the oldest firm as i failed at trying to update it tryed 2 of my pc's with sata i think i have a wrong chipset and they cant boot from flashdrive anyways! my console ive had it for over 2 years always play online the past year though with the ban scare i set my played games to only friends can see and the past 6 months i dont play games online or save anyway before release dates !
and whenever there is a scare i clear my cache like i did today i checked my live status all cool so i have just tryed my own kreon rip of saints row 2 and suprise works fine online it did ask me to update because i cleared cache i was shitting myself but all was cool thank god
i have gow2 allstars version havnt been online with it yet dont know wether
i should it is meant to be fully stealthed and retail i played it early but didnt save or log on my account i also have a version of cod5 i wanted to try but running it through abgx it says bad kreon for lower firm than 1.4 and same with mirrors edge anyone confirm playing these i have seen alot of forums saying these r the games to watch and to be honest i think i-extreme 1.4 isnt as safe as everyone makes out am confued.
Am gonna by a new system for crimbo what is the latest firm and do u think am best waiting for a newer one with all this crap and the dash update happening many thanx peeps!

Even if you don't save, there are logs that are saved internally, not on a hard drive or mem unit.

Just a quick update to my previous post and to confirm the following for the info

elite benq 1.4.1 ixtreme (no other firmware ever flashed to drive straight out of the box and flashed)

Not played any seed4me releases on the this xbox always checked with abgx260 to make sure dumps are stealthed.

So far this console has not been banned..

ms28 premium console (one of the first out flashed straight out of the box to 1.4 ixtreme)

It would be more helpful if people could just post the information I have instead of trying to speculate why the ban wave has commenced. From what I have been reading people are assuming it is the seed4me releases that is causing the ban wave but judging from my own experience this may not be the case.

Weed is being smoked for  ever by people, it's from NATURE, nothing really bad.

If it is the Seed4Me copies doing this then I think I only played that Saints Row 2 Review copy on my old xbox because I only recently got my elite flashed. I hope I did anyway. If I did then I think i'm safe, for now - Touch Wood.

it was confirmed ages ago that the xbox kept a log of any games that were played , i cant link you to the info ,but it is true , as for bill gates being a b**ch wouldnt you do the same thing if people were ripping you off for millions of $$$$$$$ , dont hate on bill , sad attitude to take

2 year old premium with iXtreme 1.4.1 on the original Samsung MS25.  I have played online with PES09 only but I have played and tested the pre-released games ( Pure, GOW2, SR2) however none of these were played online AND the network cable was unplugged.
