Hi guys
Just curious to know what the recommended upload speed you need to host games on xbox live. I currently have cable internet with 10mbit download and 256kbit upload. I heard that 256kbit might not cut it.
Opinions ?
Cheers
P.S I play gears alot. (IMG:

You will only be able to host like 6 people with that, you can take this as a general rule:
128kbit->4
256kbit->6-8
384kbit->8-10
512kbit->10-12
640kbit->12-14
768kbit->14-16
1024kbit and more 16+
It varies for the games though, some need more bandwidth others less, in general the host should at least have 640kbits though which is the standard today anyway, here this is equal to DSL6000 or Cable with 4000kbits downstream.
I got 32mbits downstream and 2mbits upstream and nobody ever gets lag on my server...
The price for that is okay as well I pay like 55 a month and cable TV and a phone flat is included...
