Hello all, does anyone know any way to obtain free/discounted "Microsoft Points" (the ones you spend, not the achievement points) or know of any workarounds to get free map packs?  Are they tied to your Xbox Live account or your actual console?  

Unfortunately, in these tumultious times, purchasing the points the good 'ol fashioned way is not in my budget.  Also, I missed the map pack when it was 50 percent off and COD4 will only be played for another month or so as the COD5 is on the horizon.

If somone has any commments on this or can offer any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.  I have already searched the forums on this and cannot seem to find anything on topic (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif).
