On Tuesday April 1st from 0200-0500 PT Xbox Live will be offline for maintenance. As a result, the 'My Xbox' section of Xbox.com will be unavailable, and the Xbox forums will be in read only mode (you won't be able to post.) The remainder of Xbox.com will be available.
Find out what time the maintenance will begin in your time zone
This is for maintenance, there are no new features on your that will appear on your Xbox 360 console or Xbox.com when the service comes back online. This is server maintenance only.

Is it just me, or is LIVE constantly down/having problems? I know its only for a short period of time, but because downtime is so frequent, it becomes annoying!

My modded 360 has been unplugged for several days, and will remain so for at least a month after this. (It's fun to live in constant fear!) (But hey, I've avoided every banhammer ever) I can see it now: "Remember when we said nothing was happening and that it was just maintenance? April fools!" Oh, and it's time to post the obligatory Penny Arcade strip!

It's a perfect time for MS to implement another ban wave, right before the new cod4 maps are released on live. How many people went and bought another system when they were banned a week before Halo 3's release? I would be devastated if I couldn't get those maps. Please don't ban me  I doubt it will happen though, just a bit of fun speculation.

with gtaIV at the end of the month? im 99% sure there will be another ban but it wont be till after the cod4 maps are released proberly a week after (that way they have more potential customers for the maps) as for this maintence, indeed its suspect but then c4eva will no doubt look at the live log and tell us if we need to be major worried, worse case scenerio if you get baned a new 360 is only £150 and a baned 360 makes a great media device to put in your bedroom

It came back online here in the USA around 08:00 AM EDT. Legal 360, so no problems.
I had a modded original xbox back in the day, it was so nice to be able to choose on boot up what firmware you were going to use (original, SmartX,etc). Never had any problems with banning back then. So I guess those days are gone.
