Is It Worth Buying Live

hi, ive had an xbox 360 for about 5 months and i never played on xbox live yet. all of my friends said the i should buy it, but i want to know if its woth it or not. ive heard that u can get a free 48 hour trial if u search the web but i can seem to find one. if anyone noes were i can get or if anyone has one can they please share it with me because i first want to see if i like live or not before i buy the 12 one. thnx

yeah its worth it mate just sign up for a free silver account and you will be offered a free month of gold get yourself on cod4 or fifa 08 and away you go!

i would say yes, its only about $50 usd for a year and its pretty fun, if you have tried things like xboxconnect or x-link kai its definately more reliable and easier to use...

i would buy it if i were you.
also there are competitions sometimes and free stuff.
if you do buy it look me up if you want(once i get my xbox back).

it's worth it when it works, but sometimes it goes tits up.

But ya it's good when it works. Plus you get demos and stuff earlier than silver users.

honestly, i cant imagine not having live. i almost never play offline campaigns or what not because i just dont find it anywhere as fun as playing online with other people. its not the same as playing a computer which does the same thing everytime and people online are just 100x better. not to mention you dont have to call your friends over everytime you wanna play a game with them. fuckin around with little kids is always fun too lol. j/k. i definately think its the best online gaming service out there by far

oh, and btw, i would say its pretty reliable. sometimes its a little slow or it goes down but thats not often enough where i'd have myself pondering whether or not i made a good investment.
