I had my xbox360 broken sometime last year. When I got it back it was a refurbished one. Customer Support told me I had to redownload all my stuff, but was then licensed to the new console. And that actually was the case. All my profiles have the content/xbla games available to play and I can play offline.

So this is something that is possible. That's why I couldn't understand the DRM issue where everyone is talking about. Maybe the actions around repairs are handled differently around the globe?

I re-downloaded everything on my new console,But Still can't access everything offline.

Apart from the ones I downloaded to the new console only,so it seems that even if I re-download them there still licensed to my old console.

Pisses me off

I wonder if anyone has ever tried to get a refund in small claims courts (assuming MS says no when a refund is asked for). I wonder how it held up.
