"this Item Is Not Available~" Bypass?

Firstly, I apologize if this question has already been asked, but I searched briefly, with no results.

Anyway, is there a way to bypass the "This item is not available from your current location" message? I've read that you can do so by connecting your Xbox through a proxy server on your PC. But unfortunately, all of the ones I've tried didn't even work on my PC.

Any answer would be appreciated. This question has been burning a hole in the back of my head, all thanks to M$'s incompetence.

Proxy will not help as you most likely gave all your correct location details when signing up for live. Your details are all logged and matched to your account/GT

You can bypass the IP region lock by connecting your PC to a VPN server (see www.securenetics.com) and then connecting the Xbox 360 to the internet through the PC using Internet connection  sharing
