Dns Problems? Xbox Kills Internet?
« on: December 12, 2007, 06:07:00 AM »

I am using a Netgear  WG111v2 wireless adapter and a Netgear MR814v2 wireless router.

Router---wireless---->computer----wired--->xbox 360.

When I turn on my xbox 360, not only does it get stuck at the DNS test, but my internet dies on my computer.  The wireless internet icon says I am still connected, but when I try anything internet related I get the cannot connect screen.

What is wrong???

I'm desparate here.

It is not possible to buy any more equipment, and the I must plug the xbox into my PC.

Are you enabling Internet Connection Sharing on the PC? You can't just plug things in you need to set the PC so it shares the connection with the 360.
