Mtu Issue... I Cant Connect

So i brought my 360 to my parents house so my cousins could play over thanksgiving. Well I cant get it to connect to Live. It fails out at the MTU. It shooked directly up to the modem. I checked the modem settings and the MTU is set to 1492. Anyone have any suggestions?
