Fireplace Visualization

Xmas is coming, is there any fireplace-type visualization available that could be used with Xbmc while playing carols? :-) Would be even nicer if the flames were slightly synchronized with the music somehow.

I must not be the only-one craving a virtual tv-fireplace since there are fireplace DVDs available ... and aquariums (how about fish doing music-synchronized swimming anyone?)

Kinda humerous request for such a powerful dashboard, BUT I think Ava is already capable of this... You could always purchase one of the DVDs you are talking about and use the now built in DVD player to play it :-)

OR, surely somebody could transition a fireplace or acquarium into a SWF file that repeats.... I'm not sure if you can use SWF for the screen saver so the menu completely disappears?  Never tried.

How about a special one-time use skin that has a SWF as the background & no menus, but resets to the default skin after a single use?

Just possibilities, but I think its very possible to use the built in capabilities of AvaLaunch without much / any development effort... because it already has everything needed   :D

hm... guess I should look at which forum I'm in before replying to posts... hehehe.

Dude - its XBMC, there HAS to be a video of this somewhere - buy one and rip it for use... I wonder if there is a repeat setting in XBMC, maybe between bookmarks - I haven't seen one, but I've never looked either.

If anyone finds a good video file, and how to loop it in XBMC, please post! Ultra cheesy but why not at Xmas :)  <

I am not sure if this will work in XBMC .. probably not since it is an Unleash X skin but here is an link for Fireplace skin for UnleashX.  Perhaps it will work in XBMC
