Logging In To Xbox Live Disconnects Pc

When I turn my 360 on and it auto-logs in to Xbox Live, all the PCs on my network get disconnected for a split second. It's not noticable when surfing the web and such, but it'll force any PC playing an online game to completely drop offline.

Is this normal for Xbox Live? I have the correct ports forwarded for Live. Everything is CAT5 wired. And there don't seem to be any issues once connected, but the connection process is messing the network up.

Any ideas? Or maybe someone could point me to a better place to ask this question. Thanks!
