On Tuesday November 13th from 0000-0200 PT our engineering team will be performing server maintenance.
Specifically, Xbox.com maintenance will begin at 0000 while the Xbox LIVE service maintenance will begin at 0100.

That means you can stay on LIVE until approximately 0100.
Click this link to find out what time the maintenance will begin in your time zone

Both Xbox.com and Xbox LIVE will be available again at 0200.

This is for maintenance only, there will be no new features that will appear on Xbox.com, your dashboard or Xbox Live when we return to service. It's not time for the dashboard update...yet.

this might be the reason my xbox kept searching and searching and searching for live....they suk @ the moment too.

ok what this update just sucks, how are they already doing it its only 6pm pst even if it was ny time it would only be 9pm. There doing it way to early. Second off i cant even play any games now!!! Everytime i load my profile i get a message saying "error your profile was signed out" How do i fix this? it does this for both profiles, is this because of xbox live? will removing the eithernet cord work?

Hell yeah this sucks, i dont mind a bit of server maintenance but when it effects offline use its taking the piss.

Cant believe i just spent 20 mins talking a store clerk into selling me mass effect only to come home and not be able to sign into my paid for gamertag on my paid for console.

Microsoft your service is quickly becoming a joke, ever since halo 3 came out the servers have been up and down more often that a $5 hookers knickers.

Not to mention its way early!

same here. I was thinking about playing single player campaign on h3. I guess not, 360 won't allow it!

I could't log in so I deleted my gamertag and tried to restore it but can't until live is working again.

Looks like I actually have to do my homework now instead of playing some Halo 3.
