Yeah! I thought there was something wrong with my console. Turns out xbox.com is totally down

Interesting stuff!! X-Scene didn't even pick this one up. Nothing on maj nelsons site. But it is a Tuesday... well it is in Australia - tuesday soon in the USA which means the fall update could be rolling out tonight maybe??

I just loggeed in but got errors, but luckily not the ban-code!
After a few minutes it worked again, i downloaded a demo, and now its not working again....

Funny normally they say when there will be an outage too.

Maybe someone cut the power to their windows computer running the live service when they tripped over a cord whilst drinking coffee and whistling dixie?

I reckon it could be the fall update though they would tell everyone it was coming so they weren't rude... even more likely it is just fall maintenance

I read on a few forums that it was predicted for end of October. and it is a Tuesday...

If it is.. we might get DIVX support.. but i'm not holding my breath for anything with microsoft on it.

Ive not even seen a final list of features that the update will have so it seems a bit random that they would just drop it on us.

If it is the update though it would be awesome to see some DIVX/XVID support so i can finally put my original xbox to bed.

Either way hope its not down too long.

So, has anyone els "tested their connection"? I just did .. everything was confirmed till it hit Xbox Live.. that shit failed, so if anyone els is having this same problem, TELL ME! I'm not completely sure if it's just down or if i'm banned.

I wouldnt worry I just did the same test and it failed on the Xbox Live test,

Im playing on my un-modded 360 so I think you are safe.

lol, well you obviouisly didnt buy at least one game that you're trying to play so that should cover the cost of a whole year of Live for you.
