Help With Noob Question

can some one tell me what triggers them to ban a moded system?
for example u need to try to play online with a backup game or u just have a flashed drive and go online

No one really knows what triggers it exactly.. But I would assume if you play with a backed up game, sense it is against the ToS... But, your guess is as good as mine man...

normally thought myself that it was playing backups. Like Pilk said no one knows what triggers sometimes i'm guessing it could be that backups are not properly stealthed or who knows
