Dead Tsop After Flashing 1.6 Eeprom With Config Ma
« on: January 17, 2005, 10:16:00 AM »

Have you tried switching back to PAL mode?  Also, try using the normal AV cable instead of whatever it is you're trying to obtain Progressive Scan mode with.

You haven't flashed the TSOP as there isn't one.  It sounds to me like it's in an oddball video mode.  The lack of eject (have you tried pressing it a second time?) confuses me, though - even a Flashing-Red-And-Orange box will eject the drive on the second press.

If you have somehow corrupted the onboard bios, it would suck for you, but it would be great news for the community. If it can be corrupted through a flash, then it could theoreticaly be flashed with a valid bios.
