Yay, I just hope we have an option on the movies were we can buy them as well as rent, then there is no need for HD-DVD or Blu-Ray.

Yeah like this will ever happen, they can't even get us artist of the month every month. Video marketplace is a desert in europe and it will always be, UK might be getting bbc content but there won't be a unified european market place. Mark it

Wonder if it will ever come to Canada. Sure it's a small market but they wouldn't have to do much to make it work. It's pretty much a rip off anyway and I will likely not buy anything from it.

To be honest I don't even care about being able to buy movies on Live, but, well it would feel good if we in the EUR got the same treatment as the US market.

i know that in the u.s. ppl can rent hd movies from the video marketplace, im curious to know when and if this service will be available in Canada.

Forgive my ignorance, but I didn't even realize Europe didn't have the video marketplace! They really should try to give Europe (And Canada!) the same treatment as the US.

I'm sure they would if it was as easy. It's all about rights and licensing of intellectual property. Many things are different when you move to another territory.

Won't use it but nice to have the option i guess, would prefere more free themes and pictures like the US get. They get piles of movie themes and pictures for free

But thats about all we get for free. We all should get themes for free too unless the author really wants to charge for it. Every once and a while you'll get a free TV show. I got some weird anime show and an episode of South Park for free.

BTW I am guessing you Europeans don't get to participate in "xbox Live rewards" do you?

Yeah, non of that, take your Borat picture, i guess that was free and we don't even have the option to buy it. No rewards neither
