well.like they said..no updates..no halo3 beta no nothing...just 14 hrs+ of downtime

just getting the story straight,

Xbox LIVE! is over 5 hrs late starting up. Xbox.com jumped into life around 02:05am GMT without LIVE services.

I am checking regularly to see when the service is up as Xbox.com swear blind it is running when it clearly is not.

My last check was at 02:30 GMT with no service available.

Throwing switches, MY ARSE!. Throwing a fast one to keep us all quiet!!.

Well, after a long pause Xbox LIVE! is up and running. Downtown TDU (aka the strip) is over populated again so everthing appears normal. Modders have nothing to worry about as LIVE seemed to have just strengthened the spine of LIVE and possibly prepared for the spring update.

there are other technical forums on the 360, but this is not one of them.

this thread was purely about the maintenance of xbox live today

and, of course, xbl is now up and running fine...

lol I just read the whole thread and boy oh boy some of you are such pussys just connect to xbox live and stop worrying about them banning people from xbox live who have there drive flashed to play backups.

To everyone paranoid out there:

Think of this logically, when m$ found out about the hypervisor exploit, they fixed it in a matter of i think a month or so? Firmware mods have been out for over a year now, and nothing has happened. I'm not saying to take my point of view, but I'm not worrying. Why microsoft isn't banning? i have no idea, but i'm sure if they wanted to they could, and i think they would have done it by now, it's more mainstream and widespread than it ever was, i just think that if they fixed the hypervisor exploit that quickly they would start trying to do something for the firmware mods at the same pace..and they didn't.
