How To Tell If Others Can See My Hosted 360 Game?
« on: February 18, 2007, 01:05:00 AM »

Well you could have a friend specifically try to find your game on XBL and see if you do show up to test things.

But try taking your 360 out of the DMZ and find which ports to forward for XBL and forward them to your 360s IP address. Sometime DMZ is funky on different routers, it is not always implemented the same.

Also try to turn on UPnP in your router, or try turning it off if it's on. UPnP is supposed to automatically forward the ports that your 360 asks for.

If none of this works, see if you can get a friend to bring over their router and test it, some equipment just won't play nice.

I checked the Microsoft compatibility list for routers, and your router isn't on the list. That doesn't mean that it WON'T work, it just means that it hasn't passed Microsoft's tests and isn't GUARANTEED to work. Try updating the firmware on your router and see if that fixes anything.
