Xbox Rewards Site Overloaded - Old Spice Challenge Extended 3 Days Posted by XanTium | February 13 23:39 EST

From the Xbox Marketing team via majornelson.com: Thank you for the incredible response to Xbox Rewards. The gaming community's interest has temporarily overloaded our servers and caused delays for those trying to register. To help ensure everyone who wants to participate has the opportunity, the Old Spice Experience Challenge will be extended by three days. Now you have until April 15th 2007 to increase your Gamerscore by 1,500.   As a bonus, we are adding more rewards for this challenge, which means more gamers who successfully complete the challenge will get rewarded.   Our development team is hard at work to fix the problem. We expect the web site will be ready in 48 hours, please be patient and check back periodically.

I wonder how many more FF2 they would have added? Damnit I could of had more time to get to 10k before starting and finishing the challenge. Who cares about 3 frackin days? It'll be over by the end of the week.  Damn you MS!!

I hear that im glad I never got King Kong or NBA 2k6 way back...those definitely came in handy Id imagine they just added more of each reward instead of other rewards and by the way id say that we have a decent chance of getting FF2 and the rest only 10,000 people were registered (It said that on some section of that rewards site) as level 3 so 25% will get all the rewards apparently (Maybe more then that now if they added more rewards). Something tells me alot of the level 3 people might have already gotten alot of the easy achievements a while back too (Hopefully they are struggling haha)....Now to sleep for like the next 48 hours haha...that promo was crazy

I absolutely hated this whole experience... but damn them, they had to go and give my profile that ultra-achievement for completing this challenge. So now I'm afraid to play any games for fear that I might pass the requirements of the next challenge before it happens!
