well sweet, i only need like 500 more points to get to 500 as of now, i just decided yesterday to finally beat the story mode on oblivion to, might just get me there.  another nice bonus is i have never played a sports game other then fnr3 so i could just go rent one and get the rest of the points quickly.

ive never bought anything off marketplace but mabie this will make it a first

People who haven't played Madden 06, NBA2k6, or FIFA '06, etc will have an extremely easy time with this.  I think Level 3 should start from 25,000, it makes it a little more fair.

I like this contest though, I just wish it wasn't first come, first serve.

I'm against rewarding cheaters. You can cheat your way trought this contest. That makes it pointless IMHO. dry.gif

But the thing is that anyone can do it,which makes it fair. If anyone can do it than it really isn't cheating, it's just whoever can play the most and score the first.

As far as I know they fixed the save cheating thing with the last update so that hopefully won't be an issue. Hopefully I'll get something, I like free stuff biggrin.gif

It won't be hard to get 1500 points if you pick a good game, try a 06 sports game or pretty much any game that came out around launch.

Everyone who hasn't done so already I suggest you rent and play NBA 2K6.

this is outstanding. also, only having to raise 1500 points is easy, without cheating. it's slick though. rentals and game purchases will go up, it's a win win situation for all.

Smart way for MS to try to get people to buy more games to try and unlock achivements, and try to win these kinda crappy awards. If the awards would have been cooler or global this would have been sweet, as it is know its pretty disapointing IMO

Once again Canada gets screwed. We still don't have access to the Movies on LIVE, but we still have to put up with the bandwidth loss when a new movie is released. Now, a rewards program? This sux. I paid the same for my LIVE account as any US citizen, but I am receiving less content and promotions. THIS IS ONCE AGAIN A PRIME DISPLAY OF M$ SCREWING PPL OUT OF THEIR MONEY. First a poorly designed console, then you try to send it for service, and you have to pay the shipping both ways in Canada. Then the movies on LIVE, now this? What a monopoly. I am regretting the 360 more and more each day.

It sux Canada can't get it too, personally I think anything for the US should be changed to North America. On the other hand Canada does get stuff sometimes that america doesn't get so it evens out in the long run, besides the rewards aren't that great anyway biggrin.gif

Damn, a copy of Fusion Frenzy 2 is a nice prize. I'm only elidgable for level 2 and a dollar and a half worth of microsoft points is kinda cruddy.  I'll most likely sign up, and if I achieve the required 1500 points then so be it, but I'm not going out of my way to get an old spice t-shirt. dry.gif
