Problem With Belkin Router
« on: January 18, 2007, 06:27:00 PM »

I used to have a Linksys 802.11b router, and it was messing up on me, so I upgraded to the Belkin Pre-N wireless router. On the box of the router it says that it gets 800% more signal strength, but I am getting the same signal strength that I had with my old Linksys router (which is low).
The low signal strength is fine for my laptop and getting on the internet, but when I try to play on Xbox Live I am having a lot of troubles.
I was wandering if anyone knew how to get the extra signal strength with the router or if this was indeed how it does it.
Please let me know,
Thanks

Or if anyone knows of some tips that will help me get on live smoother, please let me know.
And moving the router/Xbox is not an option at this point
