Out Of Ideas... Ip Test Failed

Why would you bridge you're two wireless cards?  Do you have a hardwired ethernet connection from the 360 to the router?

alright so ive bridged my 2 wireless network adapted which connects to my router and my 360 to my network adapter on the pc. i lose my internet gateway and can't pass the ip test

thanks in advance

crap..... sorry for the repost my shit spazzed out

This is indecipherable... but I'll try.

You bridged your two wireless adapters that connect your pc to your router and your 360. So you have two wireless adapters in your pc, one connection to the 360 and one connects to the router? If so that is wrong. You only need 1 wireless card in your pc. This is not a daisy chain. Infrastructure mode allows all devices to attach to your wireless router. Simply let your 360 connect to your router's ssid and then configure whatever security and let it get dhcp and you're good. It's the same with your pc.

yea im not exactly sure why that post came out the way it did... hmmm

anyway,

i don't have 2 wireless adapters like i suggested. one wireless adapter for my pc to connect to the router and another network adapter that connects my pc to my xbox with an ethernet cable... now no matter what i do i can't pass the ip test.
any suggestions?

thanks a bunch and sorry for the way that first post appeared...

Ok now my question would be, why are you connecting the 360 to you're PC and not directly into the router?

Connect the 360 into the router, not you're PC and DHCP will give it an IP address and you should be good to go.

i would but my router is far away from my 360 and my pc and i don't realy feel like tripping over wires all the time.

buying a wireless adapter for my 360 is pretty unafordable atm.

Well you are sort of out of options.  If the router is wireless, then put it closer to the 360 and have the wireless connection for you're PC?
