The service did not go down until Tuesday, so if you lost your connection Monday it is due to something else. The problems were intermittant for most on Wednesday. Thursday and today have been flawless. Tuesday to early Friday is not anywhere near 5 days. You must be using that new math that Chinese restaurants use to charge tax. All you can eat Buffet $4.95. Drink $.79. After tax.... $9.43. Sank you.

He did say it was not MS and his maths is flawless.
However, does your connection work on your PC? Are you a gold member?

well it stopped working for me on monday...and worked on and off on wednesday...why would it be failing today?

 

Lol. Don't get mad at me because you are not connecting to Live. You asked a question and I answered it. You did not ask for a solution. To get a solution you will have to give more detail. Is your isp's connectivity consistent? Have you changed any settings on your router or networking settings on your computer? What is your setup? There are far too many variables out there to be able to troubleshoot just because someone tells you they can't connect to Live.

Yeah he definitely said it was not MS.

17-20 = ~3 days. He said it's been almost 5 days. I understand he thought it went out monday and that would make it closer to correct, but Live didn't go off until Tuesday, thus the joke. Geez. Lighten up. I was only kidding with this guy.

I have 2 xbox's that went "offline" the Friday before the server down time, neither of them are connecting yet.  I bought  new console yesterday and that is working fine on the same connection using the same settings as my previous box's.

I can safley say that either the consoles were banned or both consoles developed faulty ethernet ports at the exact same time!

Forgot to mention, the older box's are flashed with 1.0 and 3.3 respectivley, both samsung, my newest is flashed using the latest 8 in 1 pack for hitachi.
