Microsoft Launches Xbox Live Pipeline

Microsoft has FINALLY released a great flash based interface to the Xbox Live Marketplace, too bad it has to be in your browser.
The Pipeline is a one stop web enabled catalog of what's on the Marketplace.

Here's a breakdown of the sub categories:
1. Game Downloads: Xbox Live Arcade, Game Add-Ons
2. Demos and Game Videos: Game Demos, Game Trailers
3. Themes and Gamer Pics: Themes, Gamer Pics
4. Media and Entertainment: Movie Trailers & Short films, TV Music Sports and More, Gaming Community Videos

Editors Choice is a page were Microsoft tries to pimp their latest offerings and deals. Right now there's information there about the Live Vision Camera, Top Downloads and how to get more Microsoft Points.

Check it out: www.xboxlivepipeline.com

I looked at this and I thought it was useless.  Would be better if I can queue stuff from this site.  Now that would own.

i expected it to show the actual pictures in the gamer tag section, and screenshots of the themes! I still have no idea what im getting if I buy one, so I DONT buy one. Is there a site that shows all of it by chance? That was a useless site

This site is quite useless for 360 owners, seems more like an advertising site to impress those without a 360 to let them know what they are missing...no need to go back there again if they keep the same format and content...

of course MS could make a great OS for the 360 to do other things, then it would be nothing more than their media center PCs (which they already sell).  if you know about the gaming console business, then you would understand the importance of attach-rate ratios and why they would never do as you request...

Useless, can't  even browse gamerpics/themes to see what they look like after you buy them. Really not useful when you plan on getting something of a sports team but don't know what it looks like.

Me too but think about those times where a new demo comes out and your out on the town.  With that, I can just get on my PDA and open up my Opera browser and boom, I'm in baby!!!!!!  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I don't think I want a browser for Xbox360.  Microsoft doesn't really have a history of making items that avoid virus and sypware attacks.  I like the idea of queueing downloads from your PC then downloading them when you fire up the xbox though.
