i didnt think the live subscription codes were console specific, by that i mean i thought they worked on both xbox and xbox 360?

i pay monthly so i have no idea.

i thought i heard somewhere that you can use an xbox subscription code on either system, but you can only use a 360 subscription code on a 360. don't know how accurate that is though.

From what I undersand, it's possible. But..you have to activate it on a original xbox first. Then recover it thru your 360. Don't quote me on this, but if i'm not mistaken I read that somewhere.

no, you can use a regualr xbox subscription code on a 360, you dont need to make it on the regualr xbox first. trust me, i know. a friend of mine got some regular xbox 12 months, he gave me one and i got a 12 month account made on the 360. it works.

As long as they are not expired, of course.
Just don't want to assume that was a given smile.gif

You can still use expired codes.  If you have some expired 2 month code lying around you can activate them on your xbox1 by setting the clock back to before they expired.  It works on about 90% of the codes.  I payed $2 for this info so i hope someone will use it.
