Downloads Sometimes Being Reset To 0%

i could be mistaken, but i think if you cancel, you lose what you where downloading, if you get disconnected , you'll be able to resume it, and i belive shutting down the system will cause you to lose any incomplete downloads. you can download while your playing games though, so just throw the downloads into the background and load up a game

can only keep a dl going if its an XBLA game, retail 360 games will pause the download

that's weird, because I distinctly remember downloading the dead rising demo as I played PREY.

The dowloads will pause only if you begin to use Live,  I've downloaded demos while playing oblivion, as well as offline COD2 and PDZ.  if you play online on a live arcade game it will also stop the DL. so it is nothing to do with which game you play, just wether you are playing online or not.
