no. if you sign up for a silver account, it will be gold for the first month, and then it will convert itself back to silver when your free month is up. if you cancel your gold account, you will lose your free month. your best bet is to just make your offline account (assuming its your main account) your live account, as this will let you get your achievements on your online account as you CAN'T transfer them from one account to another.
