Disabling Nat

you don't. network address translation isn't something you turn off. just browse the forums and you'll see the needed. possible suggestions are to turn the firewall off, check the forums to see what ports need to be fowarded, and/or set your xbox's ip as the networks DMZ. that should get your 360 to report NAT as open (which is what i assume your trying to do)

Unless he is just trying to stop all internet connectivity, in which case you should just unplug the router.  Much easier and more effective.

as reaper said, you just don't disable NAT. if you did that, well the router wouldn't work.  also, connecting to xbox live shouldn't be a firewall problem. however, if you feel it is a firewall problem, you could (as stated above) put the xbox on DMZ or forward ports.  usually when you can't connect to live from behind a home router it's because of a config setting like UPnP.
