thats the closest i've heard to anyone getting banned, and it seems to be a game specific/non mod related issue. trust me, if bans become wide spread you'll know about it as there will be posts all over the forums.

I thought they came to the conclusion in that forum you posted that it was from him using a satelite connection to go on live, and them not letting him play live because of how bad the lag would be, or something of that nature.  I don't think it had to do with him being banned from a certain game, just the fact that, that was the only game he's tried online, and his speed wasn't up to par to play live.
