yeah I was just noticing that... what came out since the article was written?

Interesting how you can download every XBLA item for less then the cost of 3 new retail games.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It's not entierly accurate either considering there area few instance where you can buy things in a package for cheaper.

For instance you can buy all the extra PGR3 cars in a "Speed Pack" for 400 points ($5) or you can buy them individually for 60 points ($.75) a piece ($8.25 total)

but this list counts that as a total of $13.25 or 1060MP

Major Nelson claimed that MS had reached 1,000 items of XBL content at E3 '06 (I guess that in-cludes all regions).
(But then they did fill it with tons of E3 footage (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) - for XBL Gold members (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) .)

I think they have deleted stuff since launch(like the King Kong demo for example), so over 1,000 is probably accurate.

Pathetic, but I am probably more pathetic. I would likely pay $100 (or mayby $40/yr) for unlimited downloads. Surprising M$ has not offered such a plan. If you think about it, most downloads are for pics and such which users would only be able to use one of which so they would not loose anything by offering such a plan.
