Also I don't go to unlock the achievements first.....That usually comes after beating the game at least once and unlocking most of the in-game stuff. Once I'm done with that I move to the achievements. Like you said gives me something to do instead of the same ol same ol

There's some good conversation here about the achievements.

To me it looks like the 1st batch of games released for 360, some companies planned ahead and incorporated achievements within the game. Where you play the game on Normal you'll get an achievement or two, but play it on Hard and we'll give you more.

It seems other games didn't plan to well, such as any EA sports game. And though I haven't played Condemned, it sounds to me achievements must of been a late add on if you have to go searching for birds and pieces of metal. But I could be wrong.

Hopefully M$ will tighten the noose around companies trying to make ridiculous or overly easy to get achievements on future titles. Launch titles were probably rushed out the door.

..Back to the 360 for me..I just got 286K in GeoWars Evolved...I might not be close to 1st, but I know I'm 100K ahead of my friend..and that's all that matters to me

Hey guys, I know Dondums, he hangs out on the Penny-Arcade forums (hence the avatar), and just to clarify a couple things:

- No, it's not a cheat or a hack, it's an accidental glitch.
- He has no idea how it happens, and didn't do it on purpose.
- No, it's not just an Xbox.com thing, in response to what someone suggested earlier. This actually shows in-game.
- He's had this gamerscore for months, it just only showed up online after the update.

Also, please don't send him rude voice messages or freind invites, he's getting dozens of those a day now, and it's kind of annoying when you just want to play some videogames.
