Getting Onto Live With 360...

do you have a static IP set on your original XBOX?  Set the network options so they are the same on each device.  If you do manually set the ip use the ip of the xbox + 1.

Try power cycling the modem once you plug the cable into the 360...  It might just need to be refreshed when you switch it from the xbox to the 360...
