Xbox 360 Live Demos Download Problems.

I have xbox live runing ok through my router i can't download any demos or video or anything
every time i try to it stops at 5% and then tells me i have lost my connection.Do i need to buy
some point to download them even when it say that they are free.Every thing else seems to
be working ok i'e i can play against other people on games just not able to download anything.
Can someone please help me on this.

Ive heard that lots are people are having this problem. Its just M$ servers are getting beaten and could you make you sig text smaller I think its against the rules.
