When Can I Play With Silver Account?

well soem weekends/special events it will be like u have a gold account, access to everything, but other than that silver will be very limited, maybe only access to the arcade games which are basically live aware only.

I've read you need Gold to play match making.  Sliver to recieve updates.
There were early reports of Silver members being able to play match making only on weekends.  But MS
seems to have changed there minds on that.

i think  gold is about 60 dollars and its good for 1 year, but i think they also sell a 3month subcriptions, not too sure though.

1 year of Xbox Live Gold is $50 if you sign up with a credit card from your Xbox...  You can also buy a 1 year subscription card from most gaming stores, but that will cost you $60...  The upside is that you don't need to use a credit card online...

They do have shorter subscription plans too...  3 month and 6 month cards/plans are out there, although I think for the best value you go with the yearly one...
