There is no problem.

It is something @ your end. (sorry to say, but i backed up my whole install, deleted all traces of xbmc and reinstalled, changed configs around, and had no problems what so ever)

Delete the xbmc save game from the msdash and try again....

(also check for e:\udata\0face008 ) If that is there, delete that also...

Again, there is no problem with xbmc...

And do not use slayers to install...

Get a cvs build and ftp it over!

Install discs are evil.

I, and most of the people in our channel, use xbmc for +4 hours /day and if this was a issue one of these +200 people would have reported back along time ago.

Get a cvs build as i said befor and try a virgin install and just change something easy like fanspeed and reboot (igr reboot) to see if it works.
