The last confirmed date is not "june 18th 2009". The last confirmed date is supposed to be the 21st of June, which is week 25 of 2009. It was then suggested they switched at the start of week 26th, which was the 22nd.

hi all

i have an xbox 360 bought a year back. i got something done to it a few days after i bought it like around august 2009.. on the back its dated 07-26-2009. i can play games on it by puting in an activation disk. but i wana know is there  a way which allows me to play games on it from external hard drive. i'm very new at this so can you plz tell me if it is possible and how will i be able to do it.

thanks in advance

Check your dashboard kernel number, if it is 7371 or lower you might be able to jtag it.  If it is higher than 7371 then you can not.

Wrong. I personally had a batch of consoles manufactured on June 19, 20, and 21st that all where patched to prevent the exploit.

There may be a very few rare cases that one can be found on those dates that are exploitable but the general rule of thumb is June 18th.
