You cant unless you edit the xml for each time you want to see/use it...  <

ok based on that last post you could do what i did with my avaulaunhch fan speed....
long story short...
create a folder...uhm lets call it "g"
and within g lets make 2 more foldersand call them  "enable" and disable"
and each of these folders have a appropeite xml chiilin and waiting to be transfered ie copied over to be used at next boot...
reboot and wala...

this will work....i use this with ava to illustrate how the fan speed affects your temps...

sssshhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!  shell never find your porn this way!!!!  <

Here's how I do it (yes this is where I keep my porn)

I assume you have some sort of media folder on your hard drive with separate folders for music and videos and pictures, each with a bookmark pointing to them in your XML file.

Mine is like this:

C:\MEDIA\MUSIC
C:\MEDIA\MOVIES
C:\MEDIA\PICTURES
C:\MEDIA\TVSHOWS

So I made another folder in there called C:\MEDIA\XBOX where I keep various xbox related stuff like builds of Xbox Media Center and tools like Qwix.  I made another, nondescript folder called C:\MEDIA\XBOX\SYSTEM where I keep my porn.  Now, I made the C:\MEDIA\XBOX and C:\MEDIA\XBOX\SYSTEM folders shared on my PC, but didn't set up a bookmark directly to the SYSTEM folder in my XML file.  Instead I set up a basic SMS bookmark to C:\MEDIA in the "My Files Shares" section of the XML (not the "My Video Shares") like this:

<path>smb://10.0.0.2/media/</path>

So when I'm using my Xbox, instead of going into "My Videos" I go into "My Files".  Then I just click on my SMS share, browse down to XBOX, browse down to SYSTEM, and then click on the video I wish to play.

So the folder isn't "hidden", strictly speaking, but the chances of it ever being found are EXTREMELY low.  <

Aye a great way to hide PrOn is to put it into a long file hiearchy that noone but you will bother to search though. you know files like "baseball stats" or
"oil change intervals on car #3" type stuff. GL and keep that pRon hidden!!  <

Here's an idea.

Are you any good with python?

Perhaps you could access a share on your PC via a script.

The script could prompt you for a password (using built in keyboard) or the script could be fairly innocuous (like an information page) but when you press A, B, A, START, a directory listing of your 'hidden' share would be presented, for you to select.  Perhaps even present you with a slide show.

Not sure if this is all posible, what i do know, you can provide input (i.e. password), python can display pictures, only thing i'm not sure of is whether python can access samba shares.

Too much work?

then go for the deep dir method
