I was wondering why ixtreme 1.6 or 1.61 wont boot hybrid disks???

How does the software knows that game is a hybrid disk or just normal wave 3/2 game

The only explanation i could imagine is  that ixtreme checks creation date of the game.

If it's before some specific date ixtreme assume that this can be wave 3/2 game and allow to boot.

If it's after that date (which is date  of the latest game with old 3/2 wave game) ixtreme recognizes it as a hybrid disk and do not allow to boot

Am i right??
