I just purchased the 360 Elite MW2 bundle. It was basically an impulse buy, but I'm interested in enabling it to play burned games.

From what I've read (sorry, still trying to learn) the new drive is likely unable to be modified (flashed).

Can I simply purchase an older drive, flash it, and install it in my new 360?

What options do I have for enabling the console to play burned games?
