Ms Soundtrack Db Screwed?
« on: October 09, 2004, 06:57:00 AM »

Hi all!
I'm having trouble playing tracks in-game from my MS dash.
I'd really love to be able to rip these games through XBMC, but I do not think it can be done??
What would be the best way to manage them? I've tried Virtual Xbox CD ripperl, but that's one of the buggiest apps I have ever encountered. I also think it messed up my ms soundtrack db.
How can I fix this?

Thanks all

delete everything through the m$ dash, convert music to wma, using either dbpoweramp or WMP

then use xbox soundtrack editor with evox as the ftp server (the way xbmc labels the E, F paritions cause it not to work with xbox soundtrack editor)

HTH :)

If you don’t feel like re-ripping just copy back the WMA’s to your PC use Soundtrack editor to ftp them back.
