Does anyone know of the non stealth ixtreme firmware boots wave 4 games?

Now I'm banned and no longer need stealth firmware was hoping there was a "boot all" firmware I could use

There is for every drive except lite-on. Check xbins.

Thanks for fast reply. My drives a benq so should be fine. So you are confining wave 4 boot on non stealth 1.4. Looked everywhere but can't find a post with this being stated

You can just patch(change wave) all you games with ppf-o-matic3, then they will all play on 1.4

Yes, i am 100% certain. The non stealth ix1.41 even comes in 4 differnt drive speeds. I only use 12x myself.

Had a few problems with patching some games, few coasters. Couldn't seem to get tekken 6 working. Also in the future I'll have problems with updates missing from the disc. Was just wanting a "boot anything" non stealth firmware. No messing about. I thought there'd be plenty people wanting a firmware with no checks since all the console bans recently.

AFAIK, only the BenQ drive has non-stealth firmware. I've been looking for a Samsung firmware for ages but I can't find one...

For Samsung theres Xtreme-I think 5.3 was the latest version..

I've only seen one user saying that 5.3 won't run Wave 4 games. Not one person has said it does though. So I'm unwilling to experiment without anything to go on...

I just flashed my banned ms28 with Xtreme 5.3d & it boots cod mw2 just fine. I dont have any other wave 4 games atm to test but mw2 would not load without boot disc on my 1.6 lite-on, so its def wave 4. The slow read speed is very nice & quite too.

I have 1.41 12x stealth on my BenQ and only play originals. I have not been online for more than a month. If I put my original COD MW2 in the drive - will it play? or do I need to go to a non-stealth version or even 1.61? If need be, I am also considering putting the stock firmware back to play MW2 online.

sholi, can you please post back if you do go ahead and flash with the 1.41 and just give us a confirm if it plays all your waves. i have a benq about 70 miles from me that i need to update the firmware on and i was hoping to flash my extra drive with a nonstealth fw. swap out the drives and be done with it since its never going on live.

I can confirm that wave 4 games boot no problem whatsoever on the non stealth firmware. So should be fine for all other new waves in the future.
