What surface is your xbox resting on.

Just sounds like static build up.

I agree. i wouldnt worry about it. If it happens every time you touch the case then you may have something shorted out but that doesnt sound like your case. also correct me if im wrong but i dont think the metal around the hdd is toughing anything other than plastic so even a short inside you box wouldnt case the metal around the hdd to become charged.

so u say i don't need to worry it's a miner thing ????? In india there is rainy season goin on so is it because of the dampness of the atmosphere
