Get the IX 1.5.1 Hitachi collection. It contains all hacked and original bins for all Hitachi drives. Put them in the firmware folder and then try again.

thank you guys i think it is done ,i used the fw files and did the same as before this time it seamed to finish correctly but a popup box said "master checksum is still set this is normal for a modded drive however checksum should be set for a full restore" ? .what.?.
upon finishing JF says "Calculated Checksum 0xAC7F040C
Actual Checksum 0x00000000
Flashing Sector 9003E000
Dumping Sector 9003E000:....
Read back & compare completed, Write Verified!
Flash Checksum Complete !
Tray Closing
Drive Aborted the command"

and it still seams to be in modeB ?

I have no way of checking this drive as the console has 1red lite
