Have I Bricked My 360? Help Please!
« on: June 06, 2009, 11:23:00 AM »

I was flashing my lite-on with 1.6 using JungleFlash, and I got an error during the erase and it won't let me flash the new fw.  I think I've had this happen before, and I think it was fixed using dos (iPrep).  The problem is I didn't use iPrep to read the original, so I have to put it in the right spot so iprep can find it.

What files do I need to copy over to iprep, and where do I need to put them?

I have the Dummy.bin, Identify.bin, Inquiry.bin, Key.bin, and even LITE_CFW.bin are these compatible with iprep?

If you have all them files then just reflash with jungleflasher, if using via chipset make sure you uninstall the drivers so it don't freeze.

If you cant get it with Jungleflasher for whatever reason you can boot to dos and use L-O-Eras and DosFlash1.7 to erase and flash the drive.

I still haven't gotten it to work, and today I noticed I bricked my dvd burner trying this...

Guess that's why you unhook that stuff and pay close attention.

I managed to get it working just now, but now I need a new dvd burner (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Anyone know of any good ~$25 sata dvd burners w/ shipping included?  newegg has a samsung for 24, but it's out of stock right now...
